These family run cottages nestle within a secluded location set on a picturesque south facing hillside. Higher Pound provides peace and tranquility with superb views down the valley to the sea at Charmouth. With six delightful cottages and a cosy but spacious farmhouse Higher Pound Farm provides a relaxing base at any time of the year.
The 65 acre farm setting is ideal for families. Children will love the space and freedom with plenty to keep them interested. Nature lovers will enjoy the opportunity to spot wild deer, rare birds and badgers. There is also direct access to the adjoining Forestry Commission Land with many walks and trails to local Iron Age Forts, the sea and beyond.

Wine Tasting Breaks
Do you enjoy a nice glass of wine? Why not combine the peaceful and relaxing surroundings with a wine tasting evening.
Mark Banham, from Palmers Wine Shop in Bridport, will take you through a selection of wines of your choice to provide an informative and entertaining evening.
Available for groups of 10 to 20 people, the evening will start at 7:30pm and last for about 2 hours. You will be served an aperitif and then a selection of 8 different bottles of your choice either by region or colour depending on your preferences.
The price starts at £200 for the evening (inclusive for a group of up to 20 people)
Please note that we require at least 6 weeks’ notice to book and it’s subject to availability.
